Overview
Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) is a long-range, C2BM (Command, Control and Battle Management), surveillance and target acquisition radar system designed by the US Army and US Air Force. This system was designed to classify, locate and track ground targets as well as to collect imagery and relays pictures to the base in all weather conditions.

AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) is also known as Airborne early Warning and Control System (AEW&C). AWAC is a radar system that is intended to identify the aircraft and for the surveillance of the area. It is used at high latitude, and can identify hostile and friendly aircraft at a range of 402 kms (250 miles).
