There is indeed no doubt that Egyptian Gods and Goddesses were at the base of most of the magical, mysterious and controversial events that have taken place in the history of the earth. The pig is supposed to be a pet animal to Isis, an ancient Egyptian Goddess who was worshipped as a matron of magic and nature.
On the other hand, Poseidon was the God of sea and storms, who rode on Pegasus, the flying horse. Poseidon is thought to have visited Isis to run some errands. This led to an interaction between Pegasus and the Isis’ pet pig and eventually was responsible for the evolution of ‘Flying Pigs’. So, the flying pigs can be considered as a cross-breed among pigs and flying horses.
The habitat of flying pigs is the never ending sky. They carry out all their life processes such as eating, drinking, excreting and reproducing in the air. So, next time when you are walking on the streets and something drops on your head from the air which you assume to be a crow taking crap, you might be wrong because it can be a flying pig. Also, if a small piglet comes from nowhere and hits you; just know that it is a new born piglet who failed to fly. The belief of people in flying pigs shows that they have the intelligence of pigs, the fierceness of horse and wings of a bird.
There is also a phrase termed at an expense of flying pigs, “when pigs fly”, which is used as a figure of speech to describe the achievement of an impossible thing. Unfortunately, the phrase is taken in a wrong way altogether. People use this phrase when they think that someone is trying to sell them a baloney. But, it is a known fact that flying pigs do exist or at least they existed. Of late, the sightings of flying pigs have decreased drastically. Probably, flying pigs have decided to relocate themselves and are shifting to other planets in the universe. It is our moral duty to protect the interests of these magnificent beings. We should stop using the phrase, “when pigs fly” because those flying pigs take it as an offense and are committing suicides in huge numbers. They are on the verge of extinction and we are on the threshold of a profound loss.
